Les Castels La Garangeoire 5-star campsite invites you on a wonderful holiday amid unspoilt countryside, surrounded by Vendée's hedged farmland heritage.
Camping on the farm
From the "Coast of Light" and Vendée's most beautiful beaches, set off for a truly restful holiday. Choose from camping pitches in a field or upmarket rentals. Arranged around old farms, our accommodation takes the form of gîtes, chalets and newly built mobile homes, in which you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The tents must be seen to be fully appreciated, as they are fitted out especially for your comfort.
The water park is arranged around a number of heated pools, some of which are indoors. Three slides and paddling pools face the bar's terrace. Take the opportunity to discover our "night pool" parties and introductions to diving.
Complete the aquatic experience at La Garangeoire at the Spa Libellule. It's all about letting go and discovering the joys of relaxation, massages and treatments in this space located on one of the most beautiful campsites in France.
Other activities await you, with fishing, hiking and sport to choose from. The riding centre at La Garangeoire welcomes visitors for an oenology lesson and wine tasting at the château. Meanwhile, children can have fun at the campsite's clubs or nursery. That way you can enjoy an evening with your partner at La Garangeoire restaurant.
Next to an old town house that was later turned into a château, explore an estate that's an integral part of Vendée's history. In between lounging around and enjoying a harbour walk, you can visit the vineyards, the Salt Route or the Montgolfières du Bocage (hot air balloons).

Back on the mainland, discover the historic heritage of the region, particularly marked by prehistory, the Middle Ages and the war in the Vendee during the French Revolution. The megalithic sites of Ile d’Yeu, the Logis de la Chabotterie manor house in St-Sulpice-le-Verdon (50 km) and the Château du Puy du Fou (85 km) still bear witness to this heritage, together with abbeys, Romanesque and Gothic churches, and the Historial de la Vendee museum.
