Marseillan, between ancient vestiges and town houses
The Marseillan Beach region welcomes visitors near the Etang de Thau and Agde. In Marseillan itself, you can discover vestiges dating back to antiquity. The old village streets complement the porches on the imposing old town houses while the indoor market, Saint John the Baptist Church and the peaceful port all contribute to the town’s picturesque beauty.
Walks along the Canal du Midi
The site of the Nouvelles Floride Les Méditerrannées campsite is an invitation to walk along the Canal du Midi, as far as the Etang de Thau, opposite the Onglous Point. You can enjoy an exceptional panorama over the port of Marseillan.
From the Cathar sites to the charms of Sète
You can go on to visit towns such as Béziers, Sète and Montpellier. On the way, you will discover the archaeological heritage of Agde, Pézenas and Loupian. The Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park (80 km) and the Cathar sites are also well worth visiting (100 km).
