The most beautiful campsites in France /
Camargue

Nestling between the two arms of the Rhône south of Arles and Saint-Gilles, the Camargue stretches as far as the beaches of Saintes-Maries de la Mer, a mecca for festive and gypsy traditions. Pink flamingos, black bulls and white horses enliven these wild places, preserved since 1970 by a regional natural park. Dunes, lagoons, rice fields, stretch as far as the eye can see around the immense Vaccarès pond, near the salt marshes of Aigues-Mortes and Salin de Giraud. Between Gard and Bouches-du-Rhône, the Camargue offers some of the most beautiful campsites.
