The Berrua campsite is near the village of Bidart and its beaches. From here you can walk towards Bayonne, Biarritz and St-Jean-de-Luz. On the way you will come across such typical Basque villages as Ainhoa, Ascain and Sare, and, if you wish, you can continue on and enjoy a tapas excursion in nearby Spain.

The region’s history appears in the heritage sites you will encounter along the Santiago de Compostela coastal road (The Way of Saint James). From the St Madeleine, St Joseph and Ur Onea chapels to Notre Dame de l’Assomption Church in Bidart, breathtaking panoramas will go with you during your holiday in the Basque country.
